The "real" people we have on board are encouraged to take ownership and accountability for their work. You aren't likely to be micro-managed at Asmuss because we have high expectations of all our employees. We expect that you will get on with delivering results. The innovative and continuously improving environment means that we are building a culture of people who are trying to find new ways to do things better and we listen to them. By having new branches joining us, as well as new divisions, we are able to share and understand how our individual business units succeed and implement that across the Group, becoming one successful Asmuss Group.
The next few years for us will bring a lot of changes as we are all about improving ourselves. We know this and are straight up with our team about achieving these changes. We are after those people who want to take Asmuss into the next chapter, who aren't afraid of hard work, who have ideas on how things could be done better and who aren't scared to speak up so their ideas are heard.
As a Group, Asmuss employs over 225 permanent employees. You might not have heard of us and we may not be the most well known brand, however we have some really exciting things going on in the Group. In the last few years we have bought three new branches on board around the country as well as purchasing our Asmuss Water Systems division in 2015. Not many companies in New Zealand can say they are as stable as us and able to do what we have over the last few years.
We employ a huge range of staff and are focused on developing them in the areas they want to go into. A large number of our senior managers and technical experts have worked their way from the ground up, so they know our business inside and out. We are committed to finding more brilliant people who are going to live and breathe Asmuss like we do and will support them in achieving outstanding results which we can be proud of.
With new Branches and Divisions come more and more opportunities for our staff. All of our roles are advertised internally first so our team gets to put their hand up if they want to try something / somewhere new. If they aren't quite ready for the move we support them in getting to where they want to be.

We are very excited that in 2017 we launched our Company Wellness programme - Be Good To Go! This is to is to recognise the importance of providing a healthy and safe workplace. Our Recruitment Process
We are well aware that some recruitment processes can be tedious so we like to tell you up-front what to expect. Our whole process can take up-to 6 - 8 weeks depending on the role you are going for but we will try to make it as painless as possible.
